Background

Designed and developed by a team consisted of two people, Gradforce is a recruitment platform MVP focused on students who are just graduated or about to graduate. It aids both employers and employees to find eachother easier than before in Auckland, New Zealand.

Problem

Finding a job is one of the biggest changes in everybody’s life, especially if it is the first job you are taking. Universities are doing their best to teach the students whatever they need for the industry. It's only when they apply for the first job that they get to know there are still some things missing in the toolbox to land their dream job.

Solution

A website that is user-friendly, professional and different from other similar options available on the web. It permits our client to know and meet undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate students and employers. Moreover, he can manage the collected information and help clients to find their best match based on the skills needed and work experience required by July 2019.

GradForce Process

Objectives

1. Students and employers (Users) can register in the web site and create their profile.
2. Users authentication can be done using Google, Facebook or local credentials.
3. Employers can create or delete their needed Roles (available job positions).
4. Create an admin panel for our client to can manage all Users data (view, add, edit, delete).
5. Allow our client (Admin) to send an email with a calendar link to students and employers for booking a meeting with our client.
6. Provide a MVP product with all the features previously mentioned that is hosted and deployed and ready to use according to the agreed scope.

Project Scope

My Role

I was responsible for leading the UX and designing the UI for the platfrom. Moreover, I was responsible to develop the Front-End part of the project through an Agile Scrum methodology. We used Azure DevOps to implement and manage the project.
